Since 1922, Olympia Christian School has been committed to the education of the whole child. Established on the belief that to be Christian is to do everything with excellence, we place a premium on academic quality. We also aim to instill in our students a desire to dedicate their scholarly skills to a higher purpose—making the world a better place.
We are looking forward to the 2009-10 school year with great anticipation! After having served the community at our current site for 56 years, we will be moving to a new building! At present there’s a flurry of activity at 1215 Ethel Road on Olympia’s Westside as our “new” building is being renovated. We were aniticipating starting off the school year at our new location, but we are beginning the school year at our current site—1416-26th Avenue NE—and will move as soon as the new campus is ready!
Also new this year is The Leader in Me, a program we’ll be integrating into our school’s curriculum and culture. This process teaches timeless leadership principles, providing students with practical character and life skills relevant for today’s 21st century challenges. We get only one chance to prepare our students for a future that none of us can possibly predict. At Olympia Christian School, we make that one chance count!
I believe in Olympia Christian School and its staff and programs. My own children were educated here, and they were well prepared for college and graduate studies. Many of our alumni are business people and professionals making a difference in our community.
