Service projects by OCS students and staff include:
  • Local community projects, such as local park clean-up and flower bed planting; collecting socks for the homeless in the Olympia area; collection of needed items for SafePlace, a women & children's center
  • Fundraising concert, "To Haiti with Love," through World Vision, an international relief organization
  • Raising money for ADRA, an international relief organization
  • Raising money for AIDS-orphaned South African children to have a hot meal every day
  • Operation Christmas Child
  • Helping with craft projects in local adult care facilities
  • Assembly and distribution of welcome bags for the legislative session
  • Bell Choir performances, such as Thurston Co. Foster Family Christmas Party, Youth in Government Day at the Capitol, National Day of Prayer at the Capitol
  • Monthly service at Thurston County Food Bank
