Field Trips

Olympia Christian School enjoys the out of classroom learning experiences for our children.  Our students participate in a variety of field trips throughout the school year, some of which may include the following:

Grades K - 2 :  Pumpkin Patch, Point Defiance Zoo, Pacific Science Center, Imax, Children's Museum, Junior Programs (Washington Center for the Performing Arts)

Grades 3 -5 :  Kennedy Creek Salmon Trail, Pacific Science Center, Imax, Washington State Museum of History, Junior Programs (Washington Center for the Performing Arts), Swimming, Jr. Program events at Washington Center for the Performing Arts.

Grades 5 - 6  : A day at Jr. Achievement’s Enterprise Village, a simulated city where students learn hands-on about the world of work and the economics of running a business. 

Grades 7 - 8 : A day at Jr. Achievement's Finance Park where students are issued “Life Situations” and assigned salaries to create and maintain a realistic personal and family budget.
 
Grade 8 : Class trip to Washington D.C.
